Job Title: Workshop Plant Fitter
Location: Bodmin
Salary: Up to £30,000 + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week

A leading nationwide Plant and Tool Hire provider is seeking a Workshop Plant Fitter to join its high-performing depot team in Bodmin. The business supplies a wide range of equipment including diggers, dumpers, and small hand tools to companies operating in the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient servicing and maintenance of a variety of plant and tools within the fleet. You will carry out inspections, identify and repair faults, and accurately update service records. From time to time, you may also be required to attend customer sites to complete off-site repairs.

About You To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a plant mechanic/fitter with a relevant mechanical qualification or equivalent time-served experience
  • Strong working knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance and repair
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • A customer-focused approach to your workload and a team-player mindset
  • A valid driving licence (preferred but not essential)
