Description

Groundcare & Small Engine Technician

You may already be working as a groundcare engineer, golf course mechanic, plant fitter or small engine technician- or you could come from a motorcycle or automotive background and be looking for a new challenge.

The Role You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of groundcare and horticultural equipment both in the workshop and on-site.

Key duties include:

Servicing and repairs
Fault finding and diagnostics
Pre-delivery inspections
Engine, hydraulic and electrical repairs
Completing job cards and inspections
Using manufacturer diagnostic systems
Supporting customers with technical advice
Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers

What We’re Looking For

Experience with groundcare, turfcare or small engine equipment
Good knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines
Practical fault-finding skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Full UK driving licence preferred
