PDI Engineer

Monday – Friday

£16- £18PH + VAN + FUEL CARD

As a PDI Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections, servicing, and testing of a wide range of plant machinery, ensuring equipment is safe, fully operational, and ready for customer use.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on plant equipment.
Inspect, test, and prepare machinery prior to delivery.
Complete servicing, repairs, and fault-finding as required.
Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
Accurately complete inspection reports and service documentation.
Identify and rectify any defects before machines leave the depot.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Work closely with the workshop and service teams to meet delivery schedules.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Experience working on plant machinery, agricultural equipment, HGVs, powered access, forklifts, or similar heavy equipment.
Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience carrying out servicing, inspections, and repairs.
A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence.
