Account Manager / Business Development / Sales
£45,000 plus company car
Monday to Friday
Candidates for this role must have:
- Proven sales experience, ideally within a multi-site small tools business or mechanical and electrical sector.
- You should have the ability to build long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with prospective customers and have a confident and persuasive nature when presenting.
- Experience in account management, business development and sales/hire.
Within the role you will be required to retain, develop, and increase the penetration and relationship with the targeted account agreed and to increase customer awareness of the benefit of using our clients access equipment.
The role requires a tenacious Account Manager with the ability to not only meet but exceed their revenue targets through the development of existing key accounts and national account customers. Although predominantly an account management role, you will be required to develop new business by delivering proposals and presentations to win ‘local’ preferred supplier status with targeted customers.
We are looking for a candidate who is eager to develop their knowledge of the organisation, its people and its services and who also seeks to improve their own skills throughout their career. A degree of IT literacy is required along with the ability to manage your time effectively by setting clear objectives.
