Job Role: DAY SHIFT HGV Technician
Location: Gatwick
Annual Salary: £40,000 basic salary - £45,000 - £18.20 per hour,
Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role
My client, a well established fleet maintenance company with depots across the UK is actively seeing to employ an experienced and qualified HGV Technician based out of a depot in the Gatwick area to work on a full time / permanent basis.
Working in a purpose built, well equipped workshop, the successful HGV Technician will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance. Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between.
You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.
You will be working on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include tractor units and rigid commercial vehicles.
The shift is a 4 on 4 off DAY SHIFT rotation - Hours of work being 06:00 - 18:00.
The basic annual salary for this HGV Technician role will be £40,500 to £45,000 per year, overtime will be available should you wish to increase your earnings.
In order to qualify for the role, the successful HGV Technician will have industry recognised qualifications. You must have detailed experience as an HGV Technician and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
