Mobile HGV Technician
Location: Covering Chorley, Cheshire, Kendal and surrounding areas
Salary - £40,000 - £43,000
Benefits Package: Van + Fuel card + paid door to door
Hours: (week 1) 6:00am to 4:00pm
(week 2) 10:00am to 8:00pm
1 in 2 weekend callout (based from home)
About your new company
My client is a fleet maintenance company covering the Lancashire area. They cover a wide range of services from minor repairs to full vehicle overhauls. Due to their continued success they are looking for a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to join their ever growing team.
About your new Mobile HGV Technician role
- You will be carrying out servicing & general repairs on HGV & LCV vehicles
- You will identify and resolve breakdowns efficiently and effectively
- You will be doing MOT prep
- You will be fixing any defects
- Dealing with breakdowns and recovery
The successful Mobile HGV Technician will require
- You will have an in-depth knowledge of HGV's and light commercial vehicles
- Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)
- You will have industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 as a HGV Technician). You must have detailed experience as an HGV Technician and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
