Service Advisor and Administrator
Location: Chesterfield
Starting pay £27,000 raising to £28,000 after 3 months
Hours: 2-week rotating shift pattern
Week 1: Monday to Friday - 7:00am to 4:30pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 6:00pm
1 in 3 Saturdays 7:00am to 12:00pm
About your new company
My client, a well-established fleet maintenance company with over 30 years' experience in the trade. They have just built a brand-new site and are looking for a Service Advisor and Administrator with a strong automotive background.
Service Advisor and Administrator duties:
- Scheduling incoming work
- To be the point of contact for all incoming jobs.
- Source parts, log when parts are received on workshop loading spreadsheet and build up relationships with suppliers
- Managing stock
- Managing incoming enquiries (face-to-face, phone or email)
- Dealing with all health and safety
- As and when business requires or you need to assist due to workload, log all jobs in on workshop loading spreadsheet
- As and when business requires or you need to assist due to workload, manage booking, and rescheduling MOTs
- As and when business requires or you need to assist due to workload, transfer delivered stock to agreed locations
The successful Service Advisor and Administrator will have:
- Ability to take responsibility and work on own initiative
- Ability to spot inconsistencies and correct errors
- Computer literate
- Experience in Vehicle Repair background
- Experience with Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Assetminder & Truckfile
- Experience with supplier ordering systems and portals
