Position: Breakdown / Service Controller
Location: Halifax
Salary: £26,500
Shift: Nights - Choice of shifts
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7pm-7am or Tuesday to Friday 7pm-7am

About your new Breakdown / Service Controller role

•    To take inbound calls from customers and deal with vehicle faults and breakdown / repair requests within the UK. 
•    Liaise with internal Mobile Service Engineers / third party repairers or assign to the following day, ensuring the customer is kept updated at all times.
•    To action customer repair and breakdown requests in a timely and cost effective manner.  

Duties of the Breakdown / Service Controller

•    Effectively liaise with customers regarding enquiries.
•    Manage customer calls/emails and log repair notifications.
•    Allocate appropriate Field Service Engineer response to meet customer requirements.
•    Proactively liaise with customers to updated on the reported job progress.
•    Ensure maximum utilisation of Field Service Engineering resource according to capacity and geographical location.
•    Ensure that all field service vehicle parts sales are recorded accurately and promptly.  
•    Engaging with customers to request purchase order numbers.
•    Creating invoices to customers.

Required skills for the Breakdown / Service Controller

•    Excellent communication skills.
•    Able to work under pressure.
•    Experience gained in a similar role ideally within the commercial vehicle sector
