Mark Kemp
Managing Director
I have over a decade of experience in recruitment for the commercial vehicle industry. I began my career too many years ago as a consultant in industrial recruitment before going on to establish a highly successful truck & bus division within a recruitment business. My main passions in life are motorbikes, boxing and my two young children. Unfortunately I don’t get enough time to spend with my motorbike!! I have a fantastic team and genuinely believe all the guys want to be here and have a true passion for the business. There isn’t a day goes by that I don’t laugh out loud with some of the characters here in the office.
Samantha Paterson-Crofts
Operations Director
With 17 years of recruitment experience, Sam joined Kemp Recruitment in 2019 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in managing large and diverse recruitment teams. As the Operations Director, Sam is responsible for driving continued improvement across all operational processes and ensures a high standard of delivery for all. Committed to delivering excellence across our market sectors.
Will Hooker
Financial Controller
Prior to joining Kemp Recruitment William held a variety of Financial and General Manager positions in Manufacturing and Service industries based in the UK, Europe, USA and Singapore. He has experience of working in an Umbrella Payroll Provider and Recruitment company. As the Financial Controller William has been brought on board to bring the Accounting and Payroll functions in house and ‘count the beans’ as the Company expands. His role will be to ensure the company can finance the ambitious expansion plans and adhere to its statutory duties. He brings a can do attitude offering support and advice to the sales team.

Jamie Hicken
Divisional Manager - Dealer, Retail and Bus & Coach
Jamie joined Kemp in 2013, having previously worked for one of the world’s leading manufacturers of heavy trucks and buses. Having built a strong understanding of the Retail markets, using his technical and commercial knowledge to take a lead on recruitment in this sector. With an exceptional track record of delivery, Jamie is the expert within this highly competitive market. Jamie has a strong network of candidates and clients within his specialist fields and is well placed to support any recruitment assignment within these areas.
Ben Bush
Lead Consultant
Ben joined Kemp in early 2023, having many years previous experience working as an HGV Engineer for a well known company in the industry. Using his technical and commercial knowledge to take a lead on recruitment in this sector, Ben has thrived in his new career with Kemp Recruitment as a consultant in the sector he previously worked in. Ben has a strong network of candidates and clients within his specialist fields and is well placed to support any recruitment assignment within these areas.
Fleet Team (HGV)
Paul Barter
Senior Business Manager
Paul has enjoyed a career in recruitment of more than 16 years, who sees himself as an extension of his client’s business, rather than just an external recruiter. Focused on providing an effective, tailored service to technical professionals within Fleet maintenance companies throughout the UK. Paul’s role within Kemp is to build on the reputation and track record of delivering high quality recruitment placements, whilst bringing a genuine personal touch to every assignment he engages with. The ability to adapt his approach to individual needs and requirements; a valuable addition to any assignment.
Macy Maxwell
Lead Consultant
Macy has been with Kemp Recruitment since autumn 2022 and has worked in both the Bus & Coach and HGV Fleet team placing mechanics, engineers, and technicians.
Natalie Bailey
Senior Candidate Manager
Natalie is a very experienced Senior Candidate Manager who has been with Kemp Recruitment since summer 2019.

Jack joined Kemp Recruitment on Plant Hire in August 2021, working his way up from Candidate Manager to Lead Plant Hire Consultant.
Georgia Holden

Georgia joined the Kemp Recruitment team at the end of 2022. She supports Jamie Warburton in the Plant team, and her recruitment skills are impeccable. You’re always in safe hands with this one.

Jen has been with the Kemp business since March 2020 and knows all there is to know about all thing’s agricultural recruitment. Jen is the head of a dedicated specialist team of Agricultural recruitment professionals who provide a tailored solution and consultancy service to clients in the field. “Never in a million years did I think I’d grow up to be a Recruitment Consultant for the Agricultural Industry. However, here I am! Ultimate Agricultural Engineering Recruitment Geek!! I’ve recruited for this industry for over 3 years now and feel I have a great understanding of what my clients and candidates are looking for. The Agricultural industry is like no other, it’s a niche and unique sector – something I have become highly passionate about.”

Beth has been with Kemp Recruitment since August 2017 working her way up to Senior Recruitment Consultant. After a small hiatus elsewhere, Beth returned to Kemp Recruitment as our internal staff hiring manager. She knows all there is to know about the business and commercial vehicle industry, as well as everything recruitment and talent acquisition.

Tyler joined Kemp at the beginning of 2024 as part of the Bus and Coach team. Prior to his time at Kemp recruitment Tyler worked as a Finance Broker in the automotive field.
