Assistant Parts Manager
Location: Cardiff
£39,376 per annum + £4,000 bonus
40 hours per week | Between 07:00 – 18:00

The Opportunity We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Parts Manager to lead a fast-paced parts operation in Cardiff. You’ll oversee a trade-facing team of six advisors, support two internal back-counter staff serving the workshop, and manage four delivery drivers—all while driving customer engagement, team performance, and smooth logistics.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading a trade parts team in a contact centre-style setup
  • Driving outbound and inbound calls to grow sales and improve customer retention
  • Managing KPIs, call monitoring, and individual performance tracking
  • Supporting campaign-based upselling and customer re-engagement efforts
  • Assisting two back-counter advisors serving the workshop
  • Overseeing four parts delivery drivers, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Building a high-performance team culture focused on service and results

What You’ll Need

  • Previous experience managing a trade parts team (automotive industry preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Proven ability to drive performance in a KPI-focused environment
  • Confident leading from the front and making data-driven decisions
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage people and processes
