Role: Mobile Garage Door Engineer
Salary: £33,000 – £36,000 + Door to door
Location: Luton
Shift: Monday – Friday, 40hrs (7.30am – 4.30pm)

My client, a Specialist Mechanical Door Engineering Company, is looking for a Mobile Garage Door Engineer to join their fitter team. The engineer must have an excellent understanding of all types of garage doors.

The main responsibilities of the Mobile Garage Door Engineer will include
Fitting & aligning doors, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
Servicing motors and safety systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and all aspects of H&S.
Direct interaction with customers, to ensure satisfaction & professionalism.
Ensure safe and efficient loading of junior engineer’s vehicles
Leasing with the installation coordinator and other engineering teams giving support with any technical queries
Communicate with customers face to face or via telephone to appease or rectify any potential installation issues.
All work to be signed off by the customer on completion. Demonstration / handover required after each job.
Repairing new and existing garage doors
Competence in using sealant / mastic and other materials such as timber & UPVC.
Work carried out efficiently and to a high level reducing remedials/call backs
Daily collection of materials from local merchants
All customers to be given an ETA before arrival.

The client is prepared to offer the Mobile Garage Door Engineer
Competitive salary dependant on experience
Paid travel and vehicle provided including fuel card for work purposes only
Working hours Monday to Friday 7.30AM – 4.30PM
A Company Mobile phone
Full uniform and PPE provided
25 Days holiday
NVQ training provided by a Health and Safety officer
