About your new company

My client, a well established specialist Commercial Vehicle Maintainer is actively seeking to employ a skilled, experienced and qualified HGV Technician to work in their workshop facility in Bishops Stortford.

About your new HGV Technician/HGV Mechanic role:

You will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance to include Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical service and repair.
You will carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet of vehicles and trailers and provide technical support from fault analysis through to pre-MOT prep and full vehicle overhauls.
General HGV Technician duties

The successful HGV Technician/HGV Mechanic will have:

You will have an in-depth knowledge of HGV’s and trailers.
Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but no essential).
The successful HGV Technician must be a fully skilled with industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair.
Previous experience as an HGV Technician

The successful HGV Technician/HGV Mechanic will receive:

Overtime paid at 1.5
28 days holiday
