Job Title: Groundcare Service Technician
Location: Sleaford
Salary: £14 – £18 per hour, dependent on experience

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of groundcare equipment supplied by the company. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for machinery, a strong mechanical background, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to both domestic and professional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Service, repair, and maintain groundcare and horticultural equipment for both professional and domestic use
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently using both traditional and computer-based diagnostic tools
Support customers by providing expert technical advice and aftersales service
Work independently in the field and collaboratively with the wider service team
Accurately complete service records and ensure timely reporting to the Service Manager

Skills & Experience Required:

Experience with domestic, utility, or professional grass/groundcare machinery (e.g., mowers, small tractors, compact utility equipment)
Strong mechanical understanding, including diagnostics of hydraulic and electrical systems
Competent with diagnostic software and comfortable using computers
Physically fit and able to safely handle heavy equipment (with assistance when needed)
Excellent communication and customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence required
