Internal Sales Account Manager – Glasgow
Salary: £25,000–£30,000 + Annual Bonus (Up to 30% of Salary)
Hours: Monday to Friday | Early Finish Every Friday at 4PM
Location: Glasgow

We’re looking for a motivated and energetic Internal Sales Account Manager to join our fast-paced, dynamic sales team based in Glasgow.
About the Role As an Internal Sales Account Manager, you’ll be the key point of contact for a defined portfolio of customers—developing strong relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue across various product and service areas. You’ll support the external sales team by providing qualified leads, assist in marketing campaigns, and help strengthen customer engagement through excellent service and account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow revenue from a defined portfolio of customer accounts
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across divisions
- Produce quotes and pricing agreements aligned with commercial guidance
- Resolve customer queries and support credit/debt resolution
- Monitor customer spend and ensure alignment with pricing agreements
- Reactivate lapsed customers and downtraders using internal reports and data
- Capture and pass on customer site leads and market intelligence
- Build strong relationships across key customer contacts: Management, Procurement, Health & Safety, Site Personnel
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using our CLM (Customer Lifecycle Management) system
- Collaborate on and execute sales campaigns with regional teams
Performance Indicators
- Increased revenue within your customer portfolio
- Growth in regional and divisional revenue
- Quality and quantity of leads generated for the external sales team
- Effective use of the CLM system for customer insight and follow-up
- High-quality relationship building across internal and external teams
- Timely and accurate reporting and documentation
- Displaying the company’s core values and professional standards at all times
Candidates must have previous account management experience, preferably within the construction sector.
