HIAB Controller
Location: Ferndown
Salary: £28,000 – £32,266 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Opportunity An expanding commercial vehicle maintenance business is seeking a HIAB Controller to coordinate their service operations in Ferndown. This role involves managing the day-to-day scheduling and communication between engineers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth job flow and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate HIAB engineers’ workloads and jobs
- Maintain regular communication with engineers and customers throughout job progress
- Ensure all engineers submit accurate paperwork promptly after job completion
- Order, issue, and book parts to jobs efficiently
- Manage stock levels to maximise profitability
- Process engineer reports from job completion through to invoicing
- Liaise with customers to obtain purchase order numbers and assist with warranty claims
- Handle email enquiries and incoming/outgoing calls professionally
- Collaborate with Service and Sales teams to support operations
- Use relevant software packages such as ADP and Kerridge
Skills and Experience Required
- Excellent communication skills and customer focus
- Organised and methodical with a flexible approach to work
- Strong knowledge of the motor vehicle industry
- Experience in process improvement and implementing new systems
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
