Job Role: Mobile Vehicle Technician
Location: Hounslow
Money: £19.00 per hour + Van
Hours: 8am–5pm Monday–Friday + 8am–12pm 1 in 4 Saturdays

About your new company:
The client is one of the UK’s largest vehicle maintenance providers; they are looking for an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their mobile team. You will be provided a company van, fuel card and paid from the moment you leave home, to the moment you return.
About your new Mobile Vehicle Technician Job role:
You will be required to undertake basic maintenance, repairs, standard servicing and minor diagnostics.
In addition, your duties will include:

  • Attending roadside breakdowns
  • Carrying out various mobile repairs for specific fleet customers
  • Performing workshop repairs during breakdown vehicle downtime
  • Working to achieve the highest level of roadside fix possible and actively promoting workshop services to customers attended at the roadside
  • Completing your own admin tasks and maintaining daily communication with your base site regarding all work carried out
  • Ensuring the breakdown vehicle remains in excellent condition, both in appearance and operation
  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels on your breakdown vehicle to meet customer demand

The successful Mobile Vehicle Technician must have the following attributes:

  • Be apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a fleet or dealership environment
