Multiskilled Technician
Location: Newport, South West – Wales
Salary: £21 – £22 per hour
Hours: Full-time (exact hours to be confirmed)
Contract: Permanent

Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Multiskilled Technician to join a busy, fast-paced body shop and accident repair centre in Newport. This role suits someone confident across multiple disciplines including panel, paint, and MET work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out panel repairs, paint preparation and application, and mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) repairs
  • Diagnose faults and deliver solutions efficiently in a high-pressure environment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with health and safety standards
  • Help keep the workshop and equipment in top condition

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in panel, paint, and MET work within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work flexibly in a fast-paced setting
  • Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
