Technical Sales Representative – Bournemouth

Technical Sales Representative Location: Bournemouth (covering Cardiff & Tewkesbury depots)
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum + Annual Bonus (up to 25%)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in pumps or temporary power solutions? We’re working with a leading provider in the plant hire and industrial services sector who is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to take ownership of key regional accounts and generate new business opportunities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in technical consultative sales and passionate about driving revenue across a well-established client base while growing market share across the Cardiff and Tewkesbury regions.

The Role: Reporting directly to the Head of Pump Services, your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing strong relationships with existing key accounts to maximise revenue opportunities
• Generating new business by identifying and pursuing fresh sales leads
• Delivering impactful sales presentations to senior decision-makers
• Collaborating with internal teams, including regional sales managers, to support wider sales efforts
• Promoting products and services at customer events, trade days, and industry exhibitions
• Staying updated on pump, power, and water treatment solutions to provide expert advice to clients

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within the pumps, power generation, or water treatment sectors
• Strong ability to exceed targets and drive revenue growth
• Confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to business development
• Solid administrative and reporting skills – confident with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
• Full UK driving licence – essential

Note: This role is based in Bournemouth but covers sales for Cardiff and Tewkesbury depots. The successful candidate must be suitably located to manage this territory effectively.
