Salary £48,000 + Bonus

Hours: 37.5 Hours – Monday – Friday

My clients are a leading pump hire specialist, supplying trusted pumping solutions across a wide range of industries, including construction, utilities, and infrastructure. With a reputation for reliability and service excellence, we are continuing to grow – and they are now looking for a proactive Supply Chain Manager to join the team.

The Role
As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full supply chain process – from procurement and inventory management to logistics and supplier relationships. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our equipment and parts are always where they need to be, supporting smooth operations across our depots and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimise the end-to-end supply chain function.
Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best value.
Oversee stock control, inventory accuracy, and equipment availability.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Monitor demand forecasting and lead times to ensure operational efficiency.
Drive cost savings and continuous improvements in supply chain processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

About You

Proven experience in supply chain management, ideally within construction hire, plant hire, or related industries.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.
A proactive leader with excellent communication skills.
