Small Tools and Robotics Machinery Engineer
Location: Reading Area
Hours: 39 hour per week
Salary: £16 – 18 per hour

About the Role My client is looking for a hands-on Service Engineer to join our Groundcare division in Reading. You’ll be part of a friendly, experienced team maintaining and repairing a wide range of small groundcare machinery.

You’ll work mainly in our well-equipped workshop, servicing: Handheld tools, Grass-cutting machinery & Automowers. Experience with two-stroke engines would be ideal, and knowledge of automowers or robotic mowers would be a great bonus.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with small engines, ideally two-stroke
  • Able to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and battery-powered machinery
  • Great attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Friendly, professional attitude with a focus on customer service
  • Experience in groundcare, garden machinery, or motorcycle maintenance is beneficial
