Service Advisor – Avonmouth

Salary: £32,598 per annum (inclusive of rotating Saturday overtime)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday + 1 in 3 Saturdays
Shifts: Rotating between 7:00am – 4:00pm and 9:00am – 6:00pm
Contract: Permanent

Overview
We’re looking for a Service Advisor to join our team in Avonmouth. This role offers a structured 40-hour week with rotating shifts and includes one in three Saturday mornings as part of your core salary, providing consistency and a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Book vehicles in for service and repairs, managing workshop capacity effectively
  • Provide regular progress updates to customers and gain approval for additional work
  • Produce accurate job cards, invoices and estimates
  • Identify customer needs and provide full explanations of work carried out
  • Liaise with the Parts Department to ensure availability of components
  • Actively sell after-sales services and maintenance contracts

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in a customer service role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercial awareness with a customer-focused approach
  • Experience in automotive/service advisory role (advantageous but not essential)
