24hr HGV / LCV Technician

Depot location: Dartford
Patch: Kent & South East London
Full-time | Permanent
Money: £60,000 – £80,000+

Our client, a large commercial vehicle dealership group is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a commercial vehicle support team in Dartford. This role combines roadside assistance with workshop-based servicing and repair. What’s in it for you

Base salary of £45,000 DOE
High OTE potential with regular overtime
Company pension & healthcare cashback
Performance bonus scheme
Ongoing technical training and progression

Working Pattern
Three-week rotation:

Week 1: 7am–3pm – Workshop + 24/7 on-call
Week 2: 7am–3pm – Workshop + second-line support
Week 3: 7am–3pm – Workshop only

Your Responsibilities

Attend roadside breakdowns when on-call or backup
Manage call-outs and escalate as required
Perform servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics in the workshop
Follow OEM training and standards (training provided)

What You’ll Bring

NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance
Strong diagnostic and repair capability
Confident working independently and with customers
Full UK driving licence
Roadside IVR and diagnostic software experience beneficial
