Mobile Forklift Engineer

Location: Manchester 
Salary: £31,000 – £36,000 
Monday – Friday | 39 Hours | Day Shifts
Van + Fuel Card | Personal Allowance 
Half 3 finish on Friday

My client, a provider of forklift and materials handling solutions, is seeking a reliable and experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their Manchester service team. This is a full-time position with ongoing support, training and a clear route for progression.

Responsibilities in your new mobile forklift engineer role:

  • Service and repair forklift trucks and similar machinery
  • Perform LOLER inspections and fault diagnostics
  • Attend breakdowns and customer sites as required
  • Complete all job paperwork and ensure health and safety compliance

Requirements for your new mobile forklift engineer role:

  • Engineering experience with forklifts, plant, or heavy machinery
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
  • Full UK driving license
  • Good fault-finding and communication skills

What’s on offer in your new mobile forklift engineer role:

  • £31,000 – £36,000 salary
  • Fully equipped van + fuel card
  • Internal training and development
  • 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
