Powered Access CAP Engineer – Warrington

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 + Van + Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday | 40.5 hours per week | 08:00–17:30
Overtime: Paid at Time & a Half
Location: Warrington

CAP Qualification: Essential

A leading name within the Powered Access industry is seeking a highly skilled Powered Access CAP Engineer to join their expanding team in Warrington. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of Powered Access equipment (scissor lifts, boom lifts, mast lifts, trailer mounts etc.)
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently both on-site and in the depot
  • Complete CAP inspections and ensure all equipment complies with LOLER/PUWER regulations
  • Attend breakdowns and ensure fast turnaround times while maintaining high standards of workmanship
  • Maintain accurate service records, job sheets and technical documentation
  • Liaise with the hire desk, service manager and customers to ensure smooth workflow
  • Provide excellent customer service and professional communication
  • Work independently, managing your own workload and adhering to safety standards

Requirements

  • CAP Qualification – Mandatory
  • Previous experience working on Powered Access equipment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up. We had a catch up the next morning where we discussed the role and experiences.. my CV was sent to the client and an interview was organised by Jamie.
