About the Role
Kemp Recruitment is working with a leading plant hire and powered access company that is looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering and collecting plant and powered access equipment to and from customer sites. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone with mechanical knowledge who enjoys being on the road and taking pride in maintaining equipment to a high standard.
Both self-employed and PAYE options are available, giving you flexibility in how you work.
Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and collect plant and powered access equipment from customer sites
  • Secure loads safely using chains and straps
  • Carry out basic mechanical fitting and inspection of equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections
  • Travel across London and the South East (with approx. 2 nights away per week)

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Up-to-date CPC and DIGI Card
  • Some mechanical experience (plant, powered access, or construction equipment)
  • Confident driving in London and surrounding areas
  • Reliable, flexible, and professional

What’s on Offer

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up. We had a catch up the next morning where we discussed the role and experiences.. my CV was sent to the client and an interview was organised by Jamie.
Jamie sent all the information over and then celi Called me in the morning to catch up and wish me luck for the interview..

I had the interview, it was alright.. however I felt that it wasn’t for me however Celi was great in discussing the situation and in no way was this bad on kemps side of things these things just don’t always work out!
