Role: Parts Advisor
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £30,000
Shift: Monday – Friday (40hrs)
My client, a trusted independent forklift hire and service company, is looking for a skilled Parts Advisor to support a busy team. This is a hands-on, varied role supporting both technicians and customers in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing in your new Parts Advisor role:

• Processing and dispatching parts orders to technicians and customers
• Liaising with manufacturers to place and track orders
• Handling goods inwards, stock control and inventory checks
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for delivery
• Assisting with customer and technician part queries (face-to-face and by phone)

The successful Parts Advisor will have:

• Experience in construction, plant, agricultural or automotive industries
• A mechanical understanding to help identify parts accurately
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage stock
• Confident communication and good customer service skills
