Job Title: Master PSV Technician
Hourly Rate: £24.89 P/H
Hours: 45 Hours
Shift: Negotiable
Holiday: 34 days Annual Leave 
Generous Pension Scheme
Location: Perth, East Scotland


A great opportunity for a skilled Master PSV Technician has come up for a client of mine in the Perth (East Scotland) area.
My client, a large transport company with a sizable depot in the Perth (East Scotland area) are looking to recruit skilled PSV Technicians on a full-time basis.

Master PSV Technician Dutes:

  • General service, maintenance and repair of public service vehicles
  • Cope with the day-to-day pressures that a normal vehicle workshop brings
  • Vehicle inspections
  • Mentoring and leading a team of apprentices 
  • Maintaining high safety, quality, and compliance standards across the flee
  • MOT preparation / Presentation
  • Correction of running defects

PSV Master Technician Skills Required:

  • You need to have an engineering background with a vehicular focus – bus, HGV / LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, farm – if it moves, it’s good experience!
  • You should ideally be qualified to the following level: · PCV or HGV City & Guilds · BTEC · NVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSV
  • You need to want to deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repair

There was an issue, however the matter has been resolved by the Operations manager Sam and the rest of the staff, including Matt. Very happy with the results. Looks like there was a lack of communication between A staff memberhowever everything has been resolved. Natalie, my first contact with the company was very lovely and professional.
