Diagnostic Technician – West Midlands

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum + £6,000 Bonus + Overtime at 1.5x Rate
OTE: £37,000 – £43,000
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Contract: Permanent

Overview
We’re looking for a motivated Diagnostic Technician to join a well-respected independent dealer group in the West Midlands. This is a long-term career opportunity with excellent training, a close-knit team, and a real chance to grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to the highest manufacturer and dealership standards.
Advise on additional repairs and liaise with service and parts departments.
Complete all work within agreed timescales and maintain clear, concise repair documentation.
Keep up to date with technical bulletins and manufacturer training requirements.
Ensure full compliance with health & safety and vehicle protection standards.

What You’ll Need

Qualified to Tech Level 3 or above.
Previous experience working on a wide variety of vehicles.
Strong diagnostic skills and a full UK driving licence.
Franchise experience is ideal but not essential.

What’s On Offer

DOE £28,000 – £35,000 basic salary + £6,000 annual bonus
OTE up to £41,000+ with overtime at 1.5x
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm – no Saturdays unless voluntary
Full manufacturer and EV training provided
