Position: Vehicle Inspector – Ayr
Pay: Up to £40,500 per year
Shift: Monday to Friday (Days)
Job description:
A great opportunity has for a Vehicle Inspector has come up for a client of mine in Ayr.
Applicants must have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Bus Mechanic / PSV Technician / HGV Engineer and hold NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
Possession of a full UK Driving licence is required and holding a Commercial Licence would be an advantage, however driver training can be provided to the successful Vehicle Inspector.
What We’re Looking For

NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Maintenance
DVSA inspector or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
Experience in servicing, diagnostics, MOTs, and repairs
Main Dealer experience (preferred but not essential)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
A full UK driving licence (essential)
