HGV Driver

HGV Driver Location: Manchester
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £22.50 per hour on Saturdays and Bank Holidays
Hours: 48 hours across Monday to Saturday, between 06:00 and 18:00
Contract: Permanent

A steady and reliable HGV Driver is needed for a site that handles a mix of internal site transfers and customer deliveries. If you like structured work, a proper schedule and a team that values safe driving, this will suit you well.

What you’ll be doing • Driving Class 1 vehicles for site to site and site to customer movements
• Sticking to UK road safety rules and the company’s compliance standards
• Carrying out pre and post trip safety checks
• Keeping delivery paperwork tidy and accurate
• Recording fuel usage correctly
• Working within all current HGV driving legislation
• Representing the business well with good customer service
