Description

Role: Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer
Location: Southwest
Salary: £17ph+ Door-to-Door + Van
Shift: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours) + Overtime offered at 1.5x / 2x
On call: 1/7 weeks, £175 standby and £30 bonus per call out + Overtime rates

My client, a well-known and respected industry specialist in the Southwest is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer. This is a permanent, field-based role offering consistent work, and the opportunity to expand your technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities in your new Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer role:

  • Carry out repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance to a range of loading bays, dock levellers, automatic doors and industrial doors
  • Respond to on-site callouts and emergencies on a 1/7-week basis
  • Assist with installation projects
  • Deliver safe and compliant work in line with industry standards

What you’ll need in your new Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer role:

  • Experience working with industrial or automatic doors
  • A willingness to broaden your knowledge into new product areas
  • Full UK driving licence
  • NVQ or equivalent qualification is beneficial but not essential
