LCV Technician – Straight Days
Pay: £19.75 – £21.95 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (Straight Days)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Earning Potential
Basic Salary: £41,080 – £45,656 per year (based on 40-hour week)
OTE with Overtime: Up to £50,000+ per year
Overview
We’re looking for a skilled LCV Technician to join a modern workshop on a straight Monday–Friday day shift. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified LCV Technician who values consistency and wants to specialise in maintaining and repairing light commercial vans in a professional, well-organised environment.
Key Responsibilities
- As an LCV Technician, your main work will involve servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light commercial vans.
- Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on van systems using up-to-date equipment as part of your role as a professional LCV Technician.
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards and within required timeframes, focusing on van-specific repairs and upkeep.
- Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation, and uphold excellent housekeeping and safety practices.
What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Commercial Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification. Strong van-specific experience will also be considered for this LCV Technician role.
- Proven experience as an LCV Technician, specifically working on light commercial vans.
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills on van platforms.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A methodical, quality-focused approach and reliable work ethic.
