Vehicle Technician – Aberdeen
OTE: £48,000 – £54,000 per year
Hours: Monday – Friday, Rotating Shifts
Shift Pattern: Week 1 & 2: 8:00am – 5:00pm | Week 3: 3:00pm – 12:00am
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Earning Potential
Basic Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per year (DOE)
Realistic OTE: £48,000 – £54,000 per year with overtime and performance bonuses
Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a renowned dealership at their state-of-the-art depot in Aberdeen. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician to work in a modern workshop, undertake a wide variety of repairs and diagnostics, and benefit from industry-leading training and clear career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Vehicle Technician, you will undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs, and major overhauls on a range of vehicles.
- Complete standard servicing, diagnostics, and follow the repair process from fault analysis to completion as a professional Vehicle Technician.
- Work efficiently in a busy workshop environment, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate job cards and documentation, supporting workshop efficiency and quality.
What You’ll Need
- Apprentice-trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a fleet or dealership environment.
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills.
- Full UK driving licence (C+E / Class 1 licence is beneficial but not essential).
- Flexibility to work the rotating shift pattern, including week 3 lates.
