Bodyshop Manager – Bristol
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Bristol
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to take full responsibility for running a busy accident repair centre in Bristol. This is a key leadership role for a hands-on Bodyshop Manager who can drive operational efficiency, maintain high-quality standards, and lead a team to deliver excellent customer service and commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Bodyshop Manager, you will oversee all daily operations of the accident repair centre, from job scheduling to final quality control.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the workshop team to achieve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction targets as a professional Bodyshop Manager.
- Manage workshop budgets, costs, and profitability while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and industry standards.
- Liaise with customers, insurers, and suppliers to maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth workflow.
- Implement and maintain efficient processes to optimise repair times, reduce downtime, and improve overall workshop performance.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager, Workshop Controller, or similar leadership role within a vehicle body repair environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair processes, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and workshop profitability.
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence.
