Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + bonus
Hours: Full Time | Monday to Friday
About the Company
A well-established and successful hire business is looking to appoint an experienced Generator Sales Manager to take ownership of a well-developed and established sales territory.
Reporting directly to the Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the hire and sale of new and used generators and heavy plant equipment, building on existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities across the region.
The Role
As Generator Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and maximising hire and sales opportunities for generators within your territory
• Developing new client relationships while maintaining and growing existing accounts
• Achieving agreed sales targets and performance objectives
• Producing quotations and tailored proposals for hire and sale solutions
• Preparing and delivering sales presentations
• Identifying new markets and proactively developing business opportunities

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Proven sales experience within the generator hire, plant hire, or construction equipment sector
• Previous area sales or territory management experience
• Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
• A target-driven, self-motivated approach with a professional manner
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals
• Full UK driving licence
