Van Technician – Plymouth

Salary: £37,500 – £38,312 DOE
OTE: Up to £45,000 per year
Hours: Full-time, permanent

Monday – Friday
Week 1: 6am – 2:30pm
Week 2: 1:30pm – 10pm
+ 1 in 2 Saturday Mornings: 8am – 12pm as 1.5x Overtime Rate

Overview We’re recruiting for an experienced Van Technician to join a busy workshop in Plymouth. You’ll be working on a wide range of light commercial vehicles, carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics to keep vehicles safe, compliant and on the road.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles
Interpret job cards and repair orders, following repair instructions accurately
Diagnose faults and report any additional work required
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
Keep your work area clean, tidy and compliant with health & safety standards
Attend training and stay up to date with the latest technical information

What You’ll Need

Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI)
Previous experience working on light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
Ability to communicate well within a team environment
Full UK driving licence
