Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer Location: Glasgow
Hours: Monday to Friday | 40 hours contracted
Salary: Up to £35,000 basic salary
Benefits: Company Van & Fuel Card
On-Call: Rota-based
Commission Structure: Available

The Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer to join a well-established and growing business covering the Glasgow area. This is a field-based role providing reactive and planned hydraulic hose replacement and repair services across a wide range of customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attending breakdowns and planned maintenance calls for hydraulic hose replacement
  • Diagnosing hydraulic system faults and identifying correct hose and fittings
  • Manufacturing and fitting hydraulic hoses on-site
  • Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Maintaining accurate job reports and service records
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company and H&S procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service while representing the company on-site
  • Participating in an on-call rota as required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer or similar role
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, hoses, and fittings
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile role
  • Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rota

Package

  • Up to £35,000 basic salary
  • Company van and fuel card provided
  • Commission structure available
  • Monday to Friday working hours (40 hours contracted)
  • Overtime and on-call opportunities

There was an issue, however the matter has been resolved by the Operations manager Sam and the rest of the staff, including Matt. Very happy with the results. Looks like there was a lack of communication between A staff memberhowever everything has been resolved. Natalie, my first contact with the company was very lovely and professional.
