Position: Engineering Manager
Salary: £50K +
Location: Johnstone, Renfrewshire

A new opportunity has arisen for a Engineering Manager to join our clients dedicated Engineering team in Johnstone.

This opportunity will give you the chance to manage a diverse and widespread engineering operation within a progressive organisation where your contribution can drive our business forward..

PSV Fleet Engineering Manager Responsibilities:

  • Delivering effective engineering support.
  • Audit and report defects found on vehicles that have undergone repair.
  • Ensure completion of inspection, defect, mileage, KPI, wages and audit reports using the internal documents
  • Check vehicle history files and report anomalies in reports, vehicle inspection periods or repeat defects that are found in those records.
  • Collaborate, as a member of the senior engineering & local management teams, with colleagues to further develop the business within budgetary guidelines.

PSV Engineering Manager – Desirable Skills / Experience

  • An excellent track record of high-quality fleet maintenance.
  • Ability to lead a team to deliver a safe and cost-effective programme of preventative maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety, environmental and employment legislation
  • Mechanical Experience within a HGV or PSV background
  • An innovative, customer focussed and commercially astute outlook.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development

There was an issue, however the matter has been resolved by the Operations manager Sam and the rest of the staff, including Matt. Very happy with the results. Looks like there was a lack of communication between A staff memberhowever everything has been resolved. Natalie, my first contact with the company was very lovely and professional.
