Powered Access Engineer
Location: Swindon & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £40,000 basic salary | OTE up to £60,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:30

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Powered Access Engineer to join a well-established and growing business, covering Swindon and the surrounding areas. This role offers a strong basic salary, excellent earning potential and a healthy work–life balance.

The Role: As a Powered Access Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of powered access equipment, ensuring all machinery is safe, compliant and operating at optimum performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Service, maintain and repair powered access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts and MEWPs
Diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
Carry out LOLER inspections and complete relevant documentation
Attend breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations
Liaise with customers and provide a high level of service on-site

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Powered Access Engineer or similar role
CAP qualification preferred, but applications will be considered without depending on points held towards certification
Strong hydraulic, electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Package:

Up to £40,000 basic salary
OTE up to £60,000
Bonus scheme
23 days holiday plus bank holidays
Overtime paid at time and a half
Monday to Friday working hours (08:00 – 17:30)
