Service Manager – Agricultural Industry

Lead a high-performing team and shape the future of a busy agricultural service department in Cambridgeshire!

Join a successful branch and take charge of delivering top-quality repairs while motivating and supporting your technicians.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the Service Department, managing staff, customer relations, and departmental performance. You’ll ensure technicians are fully supported, customers are satisfied, and targets are met.

Key Skills & Experience:

Strong background in agricultural machinery; Tractors, Combines and other farm machinery
Previous management or supervisory experience
Confident in leading, mentoring, and motivating a technical team
Knowledge of KPIs, profit/loss and manufacturer warranty systems
Excellent communicator with the ability to manage customers and staff professionally
Proactive, organised, and able to work independently

Details:

Location: Cambridgeshire
Hours: 42/week, Monday–Friday (additional peak hours and alternate Saturdays)
Salary: Disclosed on Application+ Company vehicle + Profit-related bonus
Benefits: 32 days holiday, pension, life assurance, staff discount, sick pay & flu jabs

There was an issue, however the matter has been resolved by the Operations manager Sam and the rest of the staff, including Matt. Very happy with the results.
