HGV Technician – Broxburn (Day Shift / Back Shift)
Pay: Competitive, DOE
Hours: 40 hours per week + Alternate Saturday Overtime
Shift Pattern: Week 1: 7:00am – 3:30pm | Week 2: 2:30pm – 11:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Earning Potential
Competitive basic salary with enhanced overtime rates
Realistic OTE: £45,000 – £50,000+ per year with Saturday overtime
Overview
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join the team at our . This is a great opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to work on a modern fleet within a professional dealership, with a structured alternating shift pattern and regular overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

As an HGV Technician, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards.
Perform diagnostics and fault-finding using the latest diagnostic equipment as part of your role as a professional HGV Technician.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with workshop procedures.
Maintain accurate job cards and documentation, supporting workshop quality and compliance.

What You’ll Need

Recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds).
Proven experience as an HGV Technician, ideally with MAN or similar dealership background.
Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
Full UK driving licence.
