HGV Workshop Foreman – Middleton

Pay: £22.00 – £23.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Overview
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Workshop Foreman to lead a busy workshop in Middleton. This is a key leadership role for a hands-on Workshop Foreman with strong truck and trailer experience, who can drive team performance, ensure quality and safety, and manage daily workshop operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Workshop Foreman, you will oversee daily workshop activities, allocate jobs, and monitor workflow to maximise productivity.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HGV Technicians, ensuring all work meets company and compliance standards.
• Manage workshop budgets, control costs, and uphold health & safety regulations.
• Liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure excellent service and smooth operations.

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience as a Workshop Foreman, Supervisor, or Senior Technician in an HGV environment.
• Strong technical background with extensive truck and trailer repair experience.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
