Qualified Groundsperson

Salary: Up to £30,000

Your New Role

Seeking a dedicated Groundsperson to maintain our Sports Field and landscaped areas to the highest standards. This hands-on role involves preparing and maintaining sports pitches, supporting fixtures and events, and ensuring Health & Safety compliance.

You will work closely with the Director of Sport and Estates team, supervising grounds staff and assisting with equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate is physically fit, organised, adaptable, and enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions and has minimum two years experience working in a grounds maintenance position.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence
Experience maintaining sports surfaces and grounds equipment
Knowledge of Health & Safety standards
Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail

Hours: 40 hrs/week plus fortnightly Saturdays during term time. Holiday: 35 days.
