Auto Electrician – Commercial Vehicles
Location: Middlesborough
Job Type: Full-time
Money: £44,550 + Overtime

Our client, a leading commercial vehicle service and repair provider, is recruiting an experienced Auto Electrician to join their busy workshop team. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional environment supporting the maintenance and repair of trucks and vans.

The Role
You will be responsible for electrical diagnostics, fault finding and repairs on commercial vehicles, including:

Electrical diagnostics and fault finding on trucks and vans
Repairs to lighting systems, wiring, batteries, alternators and starters
Using diagnostic equipment and test tools to identify faults
Completing job cards and service documentation accurately
Working closely with technicians, service advisors and workshop control
Ensuring work meets health & safety and manufacturer standards
Supporting vehicle uptime in a fast-paced workshop

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as an Auto Electrician (cars, vans or HGVs)
Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in electrical maintenance
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience with commercial vehicles preferred
Confident using diagnostic systems
Good time management and attention to detail
Team player with good communication skills
Full UK driving licence required
