HGV Technician – Aberdeen

Pay: £19 – £23.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no weekends, no call-outs)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Earning Potential (OTE)
Basic Salary: £40,000 – £47,840 per year (based on 40-hour week)
Realistic OTE: £45,000 – £52,000+ per year with available overtime

Overview
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a top commercial vehicle group in Aberdeen. This role offers a stable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or call-outs, competitive hourly rates, and comprehensive benefits including full brand training and clear career development.

Key Responsibilities

As an HGV Technician, you will follow repair orders and job card instructions to carry out maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on HGVs.
Document all work carried out accurately and highlight any further repairs required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working bay.
Stay updated with technical bulletins and participate in ongoing training.

What You’ll Need

Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent experience).
Previous workshop experience working on HGVs.
Diagnostic and fault-finding experience.
