Business Development Manager – Industrial Hose
Location: Manchester / North West
Salary: Up to £60,000 + bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established and growing business within the industrial and rubber hose sector. This is a key role focused on driving growth across the North West, developing new revenue streams, and strengthening long-term customer partnerships.

This role would suit a commercially driven individual with strong technical and market knowledge of rubber hoses, industrial hoses, and associated assemblies, who enjoys both winning new business and nurturing existing accounts.

The Role:

Proactively identify, target, and win new business opportunities across the North West within the industrial and rubber hose market
Develop and implement a structured business development strategy to increase market share
Build strong relationships with new customers through outbound activity, site visits, and technical discussions
Manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities across industrial hose products and services
Maintain and strengthen long-term client relationships to ensure repeat and long-term business
Work closely with internal engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
Accurately forecast sales activity and maintain CRM records
Represent the business professionally at client meetings and industry events

The Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in a Business Development or Sales role within industrial hoses, rubber hoses, hydraulics, or a related engineering environment
Strong understanding of industrial hose applications, specifications, and customer requirements
Demonstrated ability to win new business and grow accounts
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, organised, and commercially focused
Full UK driving licence
