Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer – Inverness Salary: Up to £35,000 basic
OTE: Up to £50,000
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Mobile / Field-Based – Inverness
Additional: Company Van & Fuel Card | On-Call Rota | Commission Structure

The Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer to join a well-established and growing business. This is a field-based role covering the Inverness area, providing on-site hydraulic hose replacement, repairs, and fault finding across a wide range of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobile replacement, repair, and installation of hydraulic hoses and fittings
  • Diagnosing hydraulic system faults on-site and carrying out effective repairs
  • Attending breakdowns and providing rapid response support
  • Working on a variety of equipment including plant machinery, HGVs, and industrial machinery
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
  • Managing van stock, tools, and parts
  • Completing job reports and documentation accurately

The Ideal Candidate We are open to candidates from several backgrounds, including:

  • Experienced Hydraulic Hose Engineers
  • Plant Fitters with experience on large machinery looking to branch into hydraulics
  • HGV Mechanics interested in moving into hydraulic systems

You will ideally have:

  • Strong mechanical or hydraulic experience
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently in a mobile role
  • A full UK driving licence

Hydraulic hose experience is advantageous but not essential for candidates with strong transferable skills.

What’s on Offer

  • Basic salary up to £35,000

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up.
