Job Role: Vehicle Technician
Location: Barnet
Hours: Monday to Friday 
Salary: £21.53 per hour

About your new company

My client is actively seeing to employ an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician based out of a depot in the Barnet area to work on a full time / permanent basis.

Vehicle Technician/ Vehicle Mechanic duties:

  • You will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance
  • Correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls
  • Diagnostics and everything in between
  • You will also be required to undertake pre-MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required
  • You will be working on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include tractor units and rigid commercial vehicles

What the successful Vehicle Technician/ Vehicle Mechanic will need:

  • You will have an in-depth knowledge of all kinds of vehicles and trailers
  • Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but no essential)
  • The successful Vehicle Technician must be a fully skilled with industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in vehicle service, maintenance and repair
  • Previous experience as a Technician
