HGV Mechanic – Burton-On-Trent Hourly Rate: £18.00 – £22.00 per hour
OTE: £52,500+ Per year

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday:
- Week 1: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Week 2: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Overtime: Available at time and a half rate

Your Role:

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of HGVs to industry standards
Prepare and present vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections
Diagnose and repair faults using modern diagnostic equipment
Maintain workshop cleanliness and health & safety standards
Accurately complete all required paperwork

What We’re Looking For:

Level 3 Qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) in HGV Mechanics or equivalent, or substantial time-served experience
HGV licence is an advantage but not essential
Diagnostic experience is beneficial
A team player with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance

Their Derby site includes a fully equipped workshop operating extended hours, ensuring minimal vehicle downtime.
