Job Title: Trailer Technician
Location: Heathrow
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 1430pm

About your new company:

My client, a market leading company who have been in business for over 35 years, are looking for a Trailer Technician to join their team in Heathrow.

Key Responsibilities for this Trailer Technician role:

Repair trailers and dollies as directed by the Workshop Supervisor.
Conduct inspections on airside and in the workshop, reporting all defects before starting repairs.
Collect equipment for servicing and repairs.
Complete jobs and inspections accurately via SAP, recording all work and non-productive time.
Keep the Workshop Supervisor informed of additional work, parts, or defective items.
Share jobs with stores for parts supply and ensure proper labelling and storage.
Quarantine and report defective tooling or equipment immediately.
Accurately complete daily timesheets.

What the successful Trailer Technician will need:

Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably within an operational or logistics environment
Proven background in a customer-focused or service delivery role
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of motor vehicle systems
Analytical and numerate with effective communication skills
Customer-focused with a service delivery mindset
Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations

Ideal qualifications for this position:

Welding (desirable)
HGV/LGV Level 1 (essential)
Forklift licence (desirable)
